We would rather make
fewer things, properly.
Every WESTEND garment starts as a paper pattern on a table in Bashundhara, not a trend report. A style is cut, worn, taken apart and cut again — sometimes four or five times — before it is signed off for production.
Bangladesh makes clothing for much of the world, usually anonymously and to somebody else's specification. WESTEND is an attempt to do the opposite: design, pattern-cut and finish under one roof, put our own name on it, and publish the fibre content, the origin and the care requirements for every piece.
